Apple's iPod division, whose sales have matured in recent years, is undergoing a management makeover that puts it at odds with former ally IBM. The Cupertino-based company announced Tuesday that it has hired IBM veteran Mark Papermaster to head hardware engineering for its iPod and iPhone products. Meanwhile, the company said that Tony Fadell, senior vice president of the iPod division, is 'reducing' his role at the company and will become an advisor to CEO Steve Jobs.
