As Gerry Moffatt and his high-climbing team prepare the ascent to the summit of Mount Everest, Final Cut Pro and MacBook Pro allow them to create and post video dispatches on the team’s First Ascent website. The “trusty MacBook Pro” has “been functioning superbly all the way up — we’re at about 21,000 feet.” And when they’re not enjoying the view, the team get a lift from their iPod “entertainment kits.”
