Steve Jobs and the rest of Apple’s employees have one boss—Apple shareholders—and they are committed to one thing—making those shareholders money. Granted, a great way to make money is by creating products that inspire emotional ties (which help sell even more product), but it's foolish to believe that Apple has ever been as touchy-feely as some people think.
