White MacBooks Upgraded, Nearly Match Unibody Specs [Apple]
Gizmodo — ... Core 2 Duo, the RAM to 2GB (though still DDR2), and most importantly the integrated graphics to Intel's 9400m unit. In other words, the extra $300 you have to spend to get a unibody model gets you a nicer-looking laptop, slight bump in HDD space, faster RAM, a proprietary display port and not much else. The reason for bump? Engadget suggests that the company is getting the low-end of its notebook line ready for the jump to Snow Leopard.

Wired: Gadget Lab — ... aluminum MacBook ($1,300), there still remain a few differences. The white MacBook's RAM is DDR2 — slower than the DDR3 memory in its aluminum siblings. Also, the white MacBook ships with a 120GB hard drive, while the low-end aluminum MacBook ships with a 160GB hard drive. Nonetheless, those differences are very minor, so this is a great upgrade if you're looking to save some cash and the new aluminum look doesn't do it for you. Product Page [Apple via Engadget] ...
