Now here's where this story gets funny, Zibri claims he discovered the bug in July and sent an email to Steve Jobs and also applied for a job with Apple for "iPhone security engineer." He has yet to get a response to either. In the meantime Zibri has cashed in on Ziphone donations where at his peak making $10,000 per day and $4000.00 a month in advertising on his website. Piergiorgio Zambrini, 38, states he could embed a virus into a video which would crash and Apple iPhone and force a reboot; this is the same guy who generated big news last year when his code unlocked the Apple iPhone.
Security experts have said that hackers could use the virus to remotely kill Apple products; however Zambrini is apparently send the details to Apple so they can develop a patch.
