My guess as to why they are still working with Apple’s iPhone would have to be its popularity worldwide. Apple’s iPhone is, and always will sellout T-Mobile’s G1, so until Android is introduced on a new and innovative cellular device, I’m sure Google will continue to support Apple’s iPhone in the software department.

Well, this means that ads on the iPhone won't be disappearing any time soon (though you can block most of them with a little help), but at least the proposed iPhone-centric ads are expected to be more in-tune to the interests of iPhone owners.
