Apple releases MacBook Air SMC Firmware update v1.2
MacFixIt — ... Controller firmware to version 1.2. This update adds compatibility for the latest service-replacement batteries available for these systems. Since this update is just for replaced batteries, if you have not replaced your battery or are not planning on doing so then this update is not required; however, to be safe you might consider applying it in the event of a battery failure.
