While the report notes that this is down 24 percent from Q4 2008 the quarter in which the iPhone 3G was launched the Street still expects Apple to have moved about 5 million worldwide. That's more than double the number of iPhones Apple sold in Q1 2008. From where I sit, that looks like a stellar launch followed by a solid holiday quarter.
