... Today's new EULA for iTunes throws up a pretty obvious clue that an AppleTV 3.0 update is coming up - perhaps in a matter of days. The neglected hobby of Apple's isn't dead yet folks. Besides iTunesLP, is there any possibility of something useful like Hulu or Netflix showing up on there? Will it be enough to convince people to update and remove Boxee? We'll find out soon enough. ...

... be greeted by a slightly different terms & conditions, one that warns of an incoming upgrade for the Apple TV. The updated T&C note that you can use iTunes LPs and iTunes Extras on your Apple TV, if you have version 3.0 of the software.
The last single digit upgrade for Apple TV, 2.0, was two years ago. This seems like a relatively minor update to go up an entire version number, so maybe we’ll actually see some crazy new features when the update drops.
