Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 Improves Auto-Blend, Fixes Bugs

The pro image editing app update improved quality for Auto-Blend Layers, and added the ability to correctly recognize textures that have been edited with plug-ins. The update also addressed problems caused by corrupt fonts and when pasting formatted text in a document, improved performance, and more. The Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update is free for CS4 users and is available via the Adobe Updater, or as a download at the Adobe Support Web site .

... , Adobe on Wednesday released Photoshop 11.0.1 , addressing several issues with the application. According to notes accompanying the update the new version of Photoshop fixes a number of issues that could cause slow performance. Adobe also corrected a problem that didn’t allow the Pen barrel rotation on the Wacom tablet to work properly. With the update, Photoshop now correctly recognizes 3D textures edited by a plug-in and the quality of Auto-Blend Layers (Stack Images) has been improved. Photoshop 11.0.1 is available from the company’s Web site.
