I'm not sure I have the same mac freeze problem.  But I have a brand new 13" Macbook, 2.4 GHz with 4M mem.  It works fine for the 1st 2 weeks, then it started to randomly freezes with the fuzzy and "screw-up" screen.   There is nothing I can do to come out of it instead of pressing the power button.  This happens almost every day now, sometimes after a few hours, sometimes consecutively.  Anyone has similar problem?
