... directions are clear and easily understandable. It also will provide voice directions while music is playing though for me this feature needs to ability to mute the music while giving directions before it will be practical - I just couldn't understand the directions while music was playing.
xGPS is now available in Cydia. Seems this application tempted us to have a jailbroken iPhone, right? :-)

Many iPhone owners were anticipating turn-by-turn GPS to arrive with the iPhone 2.1 software update, but that feature didn't appear. Without turn-by-turn navigation, the iPhone's GPS is somewhat outdated compared to standard GPS devices.
The app will be distributed through Cydia sometime this week, according to Gizmodo.
