With the showing of the iPhone 3G S at WWDC 2009 the rumours of a matte black finish iPhone were quashed, but were they?
It appears that a source on Twitter, @cable has posted that the rumoured matte black backing seen last month has matting info such as model number and FCC ID alike with the iPhone 3G S, along with a link to an image; so could it still be a possibility?
Of course it could just be an unfinished component, or possible an early matt black finish design for the iPhone 3G S which was abandoned. Or there is speculation ...
