As FingerGaming reports, Mobigame CEO David Papazian has announced that the company’s debut iPhone game, a highly-unique 3D maze game, will be available through the App Store next week.
Edge puts the player in control of a colorful cube that moves about a series of 3D, isometric maze environments (26 in all) full of puzzles to solve and hazards to avoid. The game utilizes the iPhone’s accelerometer for control of the cube and, as the developer’s gameplay video demonstrates, requires some quick thinking (and tilting) to successfully negotiate the various moving parts of the mazes. ...

The $5.99 platformer certainly looks very impressive. The developers describe it as an original game dedicated to mobile only. It comes with 26 levels with “simple and addictive gameplay for everyone.”

The award winning game Edge [App Store] has been updated to version 1.1 today.
The new version adds 17 new levels, 5 new tunes, global ranking and new controls. Be warned that your old scores and save-game will be deleted upon upgrade to take into account the new content. The game has also seen a price drop to $4.99 (from $5.99) since its release.

One of my all time favorite iPhone games is back online again!
Those of you that listen to our podcast may remember me talking about the bogus copyright infringement case that pulled Edge from the app store a couple months back. It was pretty much completely BS, and I was quite worried to think that such a fantastic game wouldn’t see the light of day again.
