Some nice new improvements for Google Maps and mobile, surely we won't be waiting forever for these to appear for iPhone?

Google announced this passed Wednesday that their Maps > Street View is now available via certain flash-enabled cellular phones. This, unfortunately, does not include Apple’s iPhone or iPhone 3G.
It is not known for sure if Google plans on bringing Street View Mobile to Apple’s iPhone, however the company did announce that they are planning on releasing Street View Mobile to other cellphones in the future, but like I said, Street View does not function on iPhone’s or iPod touches as of today.
