Tron For iPhone's Multitouch Multiplayer Mode is Awesome: Four Hands, One iPhone [Video]

A well-implemented Tron for iPhone is cool enough on its own, but most impressive is this version's incredibly cool approach to multiplayer: a vertical splitscreen puts both players' hands in the game at once. Credit goes to Japanese devs Pankaku, who have several other nice-looking music apps. The game's called Light Bike, and it's not in the store yet, but it will be soon—a free version is single-player only, and the multiplayer version (which can also play over wi-fi with up to four players—two on each phone) will cost a few bucks. Props go to Japanese developers Pankaku, for developing not only a cool single player mode game but also one that also allows simultaneous two player light cycle action on one iPhone.
Or four players can play over Wifi. While we can't find it at the iTunes store quite yet, we did find (iTunes link to Neu-Tron) another slightly less exciting but more 3D Tron game. You know, to hold you over until Pankaku makes it through the obstacle course that is the App store selection process or Tron 2 comes out in theaters, whichever comes ...
‘LightBike Free’ Attempts to Bring Tron Cycles to iPhone

Pankaku has released a free demo version of their new game called LightBike [App Store] into the App Store. The game tries to bring Tron’s Light Cycles to the iPhone with a 3D implementation in which you try to surround your enemies to force them to crash into a wall.
While the provided gameplay video does look nice, in practice, the free version is a bit boring and there are issues with collision detection. There is only one level and one mode (one player) in this version. The full version is expected for release sometime in February. ...

Pankaku has recently released the full version of their Tron-like game LightBike [App Store] which is on sale for $0.99 (normally $2.99) until February 10th. The game offers a 3D version of the Light Cycle game in which you must surround your enemies and avoid crashing into walls. A speed boost button adds an additional element to the game.
The game offers the following modes of play:
1 player mode (with 3 levels of difficulty)
Split-Screen Mode (for 2 players)
Wifi Mode (for 2 to 4 players)
