Sneak preview: Qik for the iPhone 3GS video reveals an exciting video recording accessory Yesterday, a video surfaced that is demonstrating the latest version of Qik for the iPhone, and by the latest I mean the AdHoc version and not a jailbroken version. That video, which is 6 minutes and 23 seconds long begins by showing off the AdHoc version of Qik. It begins by going over some of the features which include the ability to mute audio, turn off chat, set the video to private, edit the video details (while streaming) as well as how you can share your video on sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Qik is one of those must have apps for us jailbroken iPhone users. To my surprise, Qik has not been approved for the appstore because of AT&T’s bandwidth issues.. These bandwidth issues have not stopped slingplayer and such apps that more than likely use more bandwidth than Qik does. Now that the iPhone has a video API as well as some more CPU power under the hood, Qik is going to try to submit again.

I just ran across a website called The Automatic Filmmaker which is published by Steve Ellington, an independent film director from the U.S. who currently lives in Switzerland and who knows a thing or two about video. ...
