Yesterday, Gameloft’s Real Soccer 2009 [App Store] appeared in the App Store and delivered the first 3D soccer sports game for the iPhone.
At $9.99, Real Soccer 2009 is priced amongst the premium App Store game offerings and, at first glance, appears to fit the bill. With great 3D animation and FIFPRO licensed players, soccer fans will likely be pleased by this ambitious offering.

Real Football (Soccer) 2009 [App Store] is the first football (soccer) game to hit the iPhone and it was certainly worth the wait.
For fans of games such as Pro Evolution and FIFA on the Playstation/PC this games feels slightly towards the FIFA end of the spectrum. That said, even for a fan of Pro Evo (this reviewer included), this game will certainly keep you entertained for a long time.

You know it's a tough market when mega publisher Gameloft starts slashing their prices on their games. Real Soccer 2009 [App Store] is the latest Gameloft title to find a price drop to $0.99.
