You've probably guessed from its name: Sonic Lighter displays an animated lighter that you'd activate with the swipe of your finger. The cooler part is the ability to "light up" other iPhones by tapping the top of your handset against the bottom of a person's iPhone: The speakers and microphones communicate to ignite the flame. Today, Smule released a really cool (or hot, if you want to be go that route) app for the iPhone called Sonic Lighter.
Sonic Lighter is an iPhone-only app (sorry iPod touch users), that makes use of the accelerometer and sound to affect the flame it shows.
